Andrea is a proud partner of The Boylan Sisters, a production company she co-owns with her sister, Alexandra. Through Andrea’s award-winning efforts as a screenwriter, director and filmmaker, Andrea uses the power of storytelling to teach mental wellness through relevant topics such as family communication, bullying, and mindfulness. In 2018, Andrea and her screenwriting team were honored with a Teddy for Best Inspirational Screenplay at the MovieGuide Awards. Her films, which she produces with her sister under their Boylan Sisters moniker, include Wish for Christmas, Catching Faith, Catching Faith 2, Switched, The Greatest Inheritance and Identity Crisis.

Identity Crisis is about a shy science wiz in college who struggles with imposter syndrome and confidence issues, she figures out how to clone herself in order to create the perfect identity and send her clone off to do all the things she is afraid to do. Only to discover that God already created her the perfect version of herself and she had all the courage, she just needed to try.

When a high school senior finds out from her parents that she has to miss the town’s winter dance to attend Christmas Eve service at church, she successfully wishes their faith away, bringing disastrous consequences to her family and community. To restore their faith, she is led through a series of Christmas adventures that change her heart and those around her.
